Jane Goodwall has been such an inspirational figure in my life since I watched her documentaries as a little kid. She taught me to love and respect nature, the empathy we owe towards all creatures, the respect for our planet and our duty to protect it. Today is the first time I've cried over the passing of someone I didn't know in person. I think I felt like Jane was the hope this world desperately needs and I'm mourning the loss of that human compass. Jane once said: "the greatest danger to our future is apathy" and, now more than ever, I would like to ask you: what are the actions (as big or tiny as they might be) in your daily life that move away from that apathy towards our future? This is not a question to stress you out or put further pressure on you for all the things we are all supposed to be doing but, on the contrary, a question to value what you are already doing for nature. Please, let's spread some hope in the comments to honor Jane's memory 馃挋
