Character Design JAM III!! This weekend was the turn of the awesome Alarico Ciaramelli! (Go check his amazing character designs!) His words for me were:
Poetry | Manuality | Decadence | Rhythm | Contrast | Regret | Pushing | Chill | Hammer | Sharp
These words were so inspiring from the beginning that they really painted a clear picture in my mind: that emotion of feeling under pressure, judged and told off constantly (by others, by society, by even ourselves...) and how with age we learn to let it go and decide what we CAN do. I wanted to emphasize this feeling with the character growing exponentially with each frame until covering it completely at the end. :)

Character Design JAM III!! Este fin de semana fue el turno del genialísimo Alarico Ciaramelli! (Id a ver sus pedazo de diseños de personajes!) Sus palabras para mí fueron:
Poesía | Manualidades | Decadencia | Ritmo | Contraste | Arrepentimiento | Empuje | Calma | Martillo | Afilado
Estas palabras fueron tan inspiradoras desde el principio que enseguida pintaron una imagen clara en mi mente: la sensación de sentirnos bajo presión, juzgados y siendo cuestionados continuamente (por los demás, por la sociedad, incluso por nosotros mismos...) y cómo con los años aprendemos a dejar estas imposiciones a un lado y decidir qué SÍ podemos hacer. Quería enfatizar este sentimiento con el personaje creciendo exponencialmente con cada viñeta hasta cubrirla por completo al final. :)
