#Faceyourart 2020

Coming a bit late to this party but here's my #faceyourart 2020!

I feel that this image is a good answer to the questions: "What's your style?" "How do you find your personal style?" "How do you know if your style is unique?"

Personally, I believe that the "style" is simply another tool to help us communicate better or express in a more efficient way a feeling or a concept in our artwork. Of course each artist has a different aesthetic sensibility, influences that we acquire over the years and a bunch of themes that line up side by side with our train of thought and ideals but... I honestly feel that to worry about finding an "unique style" to the point that paralyses our creativity shouldn't be such an obsession but we should rather enjoy this big set of tools that can help us develop ideas more broadly and in a richer way.

That's just my personal opinion, what's yours? :3

Llego un poco tarde a la fiesta pero... ¡aquí está mi #faceyourart 2020!

Creo que esta imagen es una buena respuesta a las preguntas: "¿Cuál es tu estilo?" "¿Cómo encuentras tu estilo personal?" "¿Cómo sabes si tu estilo es único?"

Personalmente, creo que el "estilo" es simplemente una herramienta más para ayudarnos a comunicar mejor o a expresar de manera más eficiente un sentimiento o concepto en nuestra obra. Por supuesto cada artista tiene una sensibilidad estética diferente, influencias que adquirimos a lo largo de los años y una serie de temáticas que se alinean codo con codo con nuestro tren de pensamiento e ideales pero... Sinceramente, siento que preocuparse por encontrar un "estilo único" no debería llegar a ser una obesión tal que paralize nuestra creatividad sino que deberíamos en su lugar disfrutar de este gran set de herramientas que nos ayudan a desarrollar ideas de manera más amplia y rica.
