Life drawing!

Some life drawing from a few weeks ago ✍️🔥  I was practising different approaches on this session using regular outline, negative space, blind drawing or sketching with my left hand! Such a fun time with the amazing model @iz.z.diaz and hosted by the lovely @veersdrawings!

Rocks

Some rocky studies from around a year ago (a mixed bag of pens, markers, screen tones, gouache and oil pastels) I find shapes in nature SO fascinating 🪨✨

Life drawing + oil pastels

Some rough poses from yesterday's life drawing session hosted by the always great @veersdrawings and modelled by the incredible Sica! The theme of the session was "chair poses" and they were all fast paced (from 1 to 5 mins) so it was a great opportunity for me to play around with oil pastels and let those shapes flow! 🖍️🔥

I'm finally catching up with all the great drawing sessions from Draw_Brighton! I enjoyed so much playing around with oil pastels, markers and bold shapes in this session modelled by wonderful Kiwie. Practicing observational drawing is such a key part of my creative practice and I couldn't recommend it more for those of you who want to sharpen your design skills, anatomy, loosen up your strokes and learning new tecniques.
