Here’s some super quick exploratory sketches of our two main characters: Elmer and Boris 🍊
They had to resemble slightly the original designs of the book so our bigger range of exploration came with how they expressed their own particular personality and moved around the screen. I really loved how Nora always pushed for the feeling of “mortality” in Elmer’s movements during each review, making us really care and feel for him while he was facing all the dangers of his journey.
